The Start-up Competition LIFT-OFF of the University of Göttingen is going into the next round.
Register by 10.12.2024 with your start-up idea and receive support in the development and elaboration of a business model in 2025.
The competition is accompanied by a program of events, workshops and mentoring. In addition to the priceless impulses and experience, there are also attractive cash and non-cash prices to be won, which will be awarded by a jury.
The Competition is aimed at people interested in starting a business as well as active founders (teams and individuals) from all subject areas. Students, employees and alumni of the University of Göttingen as well as from SNIC and Göttingen Campus institutions are eligible to participate.

Sternstunden für Gründerinnen – Founders’ Fair on December 5, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The Transfer & Startup Hub University of Göttingen invites you to the start-up fair “Sternstunden für Gründerinnen” in the historic observatory (Geismar Landstraße 11, 37083 Göttingen). The event is aimed at female founders as well as women interested in starting their own business and self-employed women.
You can expect a wide range of information on support services for female founders, keynote speeches by successful female founders/role models and direct exchange with various stakeholders. At the lunch buffet, female founders and exhibitors can exchange ideas and network.

Startup Preschool between 6th and 8th of December
In December, Startup Preschool Göttingen (in English) will be arranged for those of you who want to start a business. Startup Preschool is open to everyone and is organised especially for internationals.
The Preschool is active in many countries in Europe including Norway, Germany, UK. Since the first Preschool more than 1100 people have already participated and more than 70 companies have been founded by the Startup Preschool Alumni. During the Startup Preschool, you will hear founders’ personal experiences and learn about the legal aspects of starting a business. Moreover, you will get to know how to develop your idea into a business and get tips on where to start.
