The new Doctoral Training unit on “Forest Funtion Under Stress” (FORFUS) in Luxembourg is urgently looking for a PhD student on “Heat and Drought-related Stress and Mortality in Forests”.
These are the requirements:
Education
- You hold a MSc or equivalent in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
Experience and skills
- You have a strong interest for plants and Physics. A background in plant ecophysiology would be ideal, but is not required.
- You enjoy field observations and data analysis. Programming experience is a plus.
- You like working in a team, explaining and presenting research ideas and results.
Language skills
- Very good level of written and spoken English.
