Masterarbeit zum Thema: „Akteurs Einfluss bei der nationalen FSC-Standardsetzung im Ländervergleich: Fallstudie Deutschland, Brasilien und USA“
Im Rahmen der Masterarbeit werden die länderspezifischen FSC-Zertifizierungsstandards (Deutschland, Brasilien, USA) verglichen und der Einfluss verschiedener Akteursgruppen (Unternehmen, Umweltverbände, Gewerkschaften u. a.) auf die nationale Standardsetzung untersucht. Die Ergebnisse fließen in die Evaluierung der FSC-Zertifizierung im hessischen Staatswald ein (Kooperation mit HessenForst). Methodik: Dokumentenanalyse und Expert*innen-Interviews. Portugiesisch Kenntnisse von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung.

As part of the master’s thesis, the country-specific FSC certification standards (Germany, Brazil, USA) are compared and the influence of various stakeholder groups (companies, environmental organizations, trade unions, among others) on national standard-setting is examined. The findings will contribute to the evaluation of the FSC certification of the Hessian state forest (in cooperation with HessenForst).
Methodology: Document analysis and expert interviews. Portuguese language skills are an advantage but not required.
